State Places:

• 2016 – 1st Non Stunt Category

• 2017 – 12th place

• 2018 – 6th place

• 2019 – 4th place

• 2020 – 7th place

• 2021 – no state series 

• 2022 - 1st Place - Small Junior High

Tryouts for the 22-23 CMS Cheer Team are coming soon for current 5th, 6th and 7th graders of District 80 schools. 

You must have a current sports physical on file at the school in order to participate in workshops and tryouts.

Dates are as follows:

• Thursday 3/17 4:00 - 6:00 Workshop to learn tryout material

• Thursday 3/24 4:00 - 6:00 Workshop to learn tryout material

• Thursday 3/31 4:00 - 6:00 Workshop to learn tryout material

• Monday 4/4 4:00 - 6:00 Workshop to practice tryout material in your tryout group

• Monday 6:00 - 7:00 - Parent meeting to get information about the CMS Cheer program - projected costs, fundraising opportunities, camp dates, game and competition expectations

Note: extra 10 points awarded to all cheer candidates that have a parent attend this meeting

• Tuesday 4/5 4:00 - 6:00 Workshop to practice tryout material in your tryout group

• Wednesday 4/6 - 4:00 -7:00 Tryouts    We will post the new CMS Cheer Team List by 8:00 Wednesday evening on the new gym lobby doors.
