Announcements

• Attention 8th Grade Students: The Course Exploration Night at the High School is tonight from 5:30-6:30 at the Mt Vernon Township High School Cafeteria and Gym. 

• The BETA Club will meet today in the 7G hallway until 3 :45 pm. Please make  transportation arrangements prior to the meeting. 

• There will be $1 ice cream sales in the cafeteria on Friday. 

• For anyone interested in auditioning for theater, Ms. Weise has changed the audition  schedule to accommodate bowling tryouts and the basketball game next Wednesday.  Therefore, theater auditions will be next Tuesday/Thursday after school! Audition  information and material is on the bulletin board outside the band room. Ask Ms. Weise if you have any questions! 

• Bowling tryouts will be held on Tuesday, January 20th and Wednesday, January 21st at Nu Bowl Lanes, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. We remind you that those interested in  participating must register outside the office and have a current school athletic physical.
